In this short guide we will go through a quick setup of the system, connecting video sources, creating rules for detection and resulting end actions.
If you will encounter any problems during the setup, we recommend you to find the issue in this documentation, contact us via email at support@deki.ai, or via the dedicated chat in the interface (for contacting via chat, you have to be connected to the internet)
First things, install the DEKI SAFE into your local area network according to the -> information
To access Interface open the URL provided on a small sticker on the box called DEKI Access Information. If you have lost this information, please contact us via support@deki.ai .
Enter default username: admin and password: changeMe.
Click on Sign in.
Go to the menu on the left side and click on Video Sources.
Please make sure that BASIC Authentication is configured in the IP camera settings (on the interface of the camera) for the RTSP stream.
Add new video source according to the -> information.
Create active area to the video source ->
Go to the menu on the left side and click on Actions.
After you have added in a Video Source and have created a new Output Action to be triggered upon detection, it is now time to combine it together in a Detection Rule.
Go to the menu on the left side and click on Rules.
After all of the steps above have been completed, you should have a Rule for Detection, that gives object detection capabilities to the added video source, with a resulting end action upon detection.
You can test if all steps were done correctly by introducing selected object type into the view of the camera added to the detection rule.
Setup a new action to be triggered upon detection. In the page -> , choose an action type you want to create.
For the purposes of Quick Start, we highly recommend to type of action to begin with.
Setup a new Rule of Detection according to the -> information.
If all was done correctly, you should see a new Event in the Event Log at the -> .
